Town of Orient, Maine

Share

Orient is home to approximately 150 residents nestled in the southern part of Maine’s Aroostook County. Incorporated in 1856, its unique name stems from its position as the easternmost point in the region, jetting directly into New Brunswick, Canada. The town shares a historically significant U.S.-Canada border crossing along the Saint Croix River and North Lake.

The Town of Orient now has a Service Agreement with the Town of Weston for Administrative Services. Please contact the Weston Town Office during normal business hours for any Orient Town business needs.
